Incorporation Bureau (incorporationbureau.com) is an independent publisher of U.S. company-formation guides and service comparisons. Our goal is to help readers understand a decision and find the source that governs it. An affiliate offer should support that decision rather than replace the explanation.
For our role and funding, see About Incorporation Bureau. We are independent of government filing agencies. Requirements come from the responsible authority; a provider page establishes that provider’s offer, not a government rule.
Research and sources
We start with questions relevant to company founders and compare them with existing coverage. Official registries, state agencies, the IRS and other responsible authorities take priority for filing requirements. Provider pages are sources for that provider’s own offering, not independent proof that it is best.
Search results are leads, not evidence by themselves. A topic appearing in results is not a measured search trend. Where a source does not establish a price, deadline or exception, we should not invent it. Dates identify when information was checked or a record was updated; they do not guarantee that a rule remains unchanged.
Review and corrections
New articles pass through research, drafting and review before a publication decision. Review checks the scope of claims, cited sources, conditions and links. We do not describe automated checks as an attorney’s opinion, an interview or firsthand product testing.
When a fact changes, the page should be corrected in place where practical. Material updates should reflect the source and date. If information conflicts with the responsible authority, use the current official source. For editorial purposes, sources and substantive qualifications matter more than reaching a fixed article count.
How comparisons work
Our comparisons consider the initial service fee separately from government fees, registered-agent renewal, what the selected package includes, optional extras, eligibility and the scope of ongoing support. We do not publish a numerical score pretending these factors are interchangeable for every founder.
A low entry price can be appropriate for someone who can handle later filings. Someone managing several entities may instead prioritize document handling, renewal administration or support. Readers should verify the final checkout, renewal terms and cancellation process before purchasing.
Commercial relationships
Commercial links may earn a commission and are marked or disclosed nearby. Affiliate availability is not evidence of suitability. Recommendations should identify a relevant use case and their limitations. We do not claim to have personally tested a service unless a page documents that testing.
Scope
Incorporation Bureau publishes information and comparisons. It is independent of government agencies and does not act as a reader’s lawyer or accountant. See the terms of use and privacy policy for the site’s scope and external services.
