Confirmed changes in 2026

Kansas

Kansas reduced the application and recording fee for a domestic LLC to $75 under rules effective February 27, 2026. Extra paper or processing charges can affect the checkout total. Kansas businesses now file an Information Report every two years rather than an annual report.

Montana

Montana waived the annual-report fee for reports filed by April 15 in 2026. Reports filed after April 15 carry a $35 fee. The Secretary of State has also announced a waiver for timely 2027 reports.

How to use this log
